I kinda like how it came out. The trees (splodges) were fun to do. I’m enjoying making these comics more and more – the black and white look is really simple to do and really fun. It comes out looking pretty damn good, too.
And, yes, this was a real incident. Alex, would you like to say anything?

In answer to your call to defend my actions – well only that it involved a platonic friend of mine who i’d known for the over a year and we’d never expressed interest in each other – then she used the toast offer to lure me in.
Good to have that cleared up.
Although the phrase “used the toast offer to lure me in” is still the funniest goddamn thing ever.
I still say Alex led her on. Only a total cad would indicate to a young lady that he was interested in coitus (through the code words “Yes I would like toast”) and then run away once the kissing began.

Hey thats unfair I felt really bad about not figuring out my friend wanted to have sex with me until I was at hers – I wouldnt put a girl in that position otherwise…poor choice of words, I wouldnt have allowed such developments to occur if I had realised for the sake of her feelings.
