Another true-life tale, as you would expect of me. Some location stuff here, tricky to make it look right. It proved too difficult to straighten up all the lines, so I coloured it as it was on the page, hence the slight leaning in panel 1.

I am slowly clawing back on track with comics, but I have no idea what’s going to happen. The fact is, I like the outline-free look of these latest ones, but it adds a serious amount of time onto the process, meaning that fixing up one comic sets me back several more hours. With work on most days of the week, this is becoming a problem as I don’t have the time to make them look good, and when I do have time I can;t get as much done as I’d like because it takes so long.

I’m just letting you know that either I’m going to have to find an easier way to make comics, or I’m going to have to cut back on how many a week I post up. Now you can’t say you weren’t warned.

I’m not around tomorrow, so you’re getting it early.

This one makes me jealous. There’s no way I can top this. Screw you, Jack!

I don’t have anything to say. I’m getting behind again.

Firstly, I apologise. I think I fucked up the panel layout on this one.

Secondly, this comic was part of a challenge I was doing where I was not allowed to draw anything at a ‘normal’ angle. (Normal angle being one that is slightly off 90 degrees – check back at the archives to see it in all it’s glory!)

Anyways, it’s my day off today and I intend to get a lot of comicking done. Huzzah!

And the continuing saga of mind-boggling epicness continues. Thank you Jack.

And when we do go there, we will be kings!

Damn, all this working is making me behind on comics. I’m still a week ahead, but I should be further. I’ve got two waiting to be all made up. Hopefully I can do them soon. Until Jack Day, hang tight, yo.

And here is the new style: no outlines!

I’d just like to say that, while I don’t like the way this one came out, I am happy I did it. I’d been trying to make a comic without outlines for some time now, so I just sat down and only drew half the faces. I don’t like the angles used here, though, and I don’t like the excessive dialogue in panel two, but, meh.

It’s an interesting new thing I’m trying. It makes everything a lot harder and takes a lot longer to do it all, but I like it. I’ll probably get fed up of it soon enough though.

You lucky people. Now he’s doing a parody of the random “next time” I used to end a post. What will happen next? DUN DUN DARRR!

He came in one day and said this happened. I can imagine it being teh best day evar!!1!

In other news, I start my job on Monday. I am not really looking forward to it, to be honest. So this week I’ve been doing all the things I want to do, namely playing an absurd amount of games in my pants.

See you next time. Tune in this weekend for another Jack Day! And, next week, a new style of GUMO. Exciting, huh?

Yeah, this is sort of how our days go. Luckily, we won’t be doing this for much longer. Hooray!
